1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you (“User”) and LifeOf Technologies, a sole proprietorship operated by Vimal Kumar Nair P V, registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (“LifeOf”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, downloading the App, or accessing any LifeOf service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement, have legal capacity to enter a binding contract, are not barred from using LifeOf under any applicable law, and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. The App

LifeOf is a habit tracking application that helps you build daily habits with a self-funded reward system. The Service includes account creation and management, habit creation and tracking, a virtual currency layer (ThrillQuids and Ancient Gold — Section 5), optional Adventures Club premium subscription (Section 6), and optional social features (Adventure’s Guild — Section 8).

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice, unless a material change to the paid features requires notice.

4. Your account

You access LifeOf via phone number OTP authentication. You agree to use a phone number you legally own and control, keep your device secure, notify us immediately at support@lifeof.app if you suspect unauthorised access, and provide accurate onboarding information. You may only maintain one account per phone number.

5. ThrillQuids and Ancient Gold — virtual in-App values

5.1 What ThrillQuids are

“ThrillQuids” is a virtual in-App label for a portion of a personal spending budget you define, based on a percentage of your own stated income. ThrillQuids exist only as numeric values stored against your account — an accounting reference to help you plan and track your own discretionary spending, which you carry out separately outside the App using your own funds.

5.2 What ThrillQuids are not

ThrillQuids are not real-world currency, e-money, stored-value instruments, prepaid instruments, securities, virtual digital assets, cryptocurrency, or financial products of any kind. They are not issued, custodied, transferred, settled, or guaranteed by LifeOf.

5.3 What Ancient Gold is

“Ancient Gold” is a virtual in-App scoring point used to unlock features within the App. Ancient Gold has no monetary value, cannot be purchased for cash, and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the App.

5.4 No purchase of virtual items

At no point do you “purchase” ThrillQuids or Ancient Gold for money. The only paid component of the App is the Adventures Club subscription, which unlocks features — not virtual currency.

5.5 Loss or termination

If your account is suspended, terminated, or deleted, any ThrillQuids and Ancient Gold balances are forfeited and cannot be recovered or converted to cash.

6. Adventures Club subscriptions

6.1 What it offers

Unlimited habits, premium habit icons, 2× Ancient Gold earnings, dark theme, historical statistics, and exclusive upcoming features.

6.2 Pricing

Monthly: ₹969 / USD 4.99 (introductory). Annual plans available. Prices include applicable taxes where required. Subject to change with reasonable notice.

6.3 Billing and cancellation

Charged at the start of each billing period. Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancel via App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). Access continues to the end of the current paid period.

6.4 Free trial

Unused free trial periods are forfeited upon subscription purchase.

7. Refunds and cancellations

All subscription payments are processed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Refunds are governed by their respective policies.

For users in the EU and UK: You have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. However, by requesting immediate access to Adventures Club features, you acknowledge that performance has begun and waive your right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Adventure’s Guild

An optional social feature where users form groups, complete daily habits independently, and plan shared real-world outings. Participation is voluntary. Other Guild members can see your display name, avatar, event participation, and XP — not your full ThrillQuids balance, habit details, or personal financial information. In events, members see only your progress toward that event’s budget.

We are not responsible for interactions between Guild members outside the App.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for any illegal purpose; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use bots, scripts, or automated tools; falsify habit completions or manipulate virtual balances; buy, sell, or transfer your account; impersonate LifeOf or other users; upload malicious code or conduct cyberattacks; or interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Service.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

10. Your content

You retain ownership of original content you submit (such as habit names). By submitting content, you grant LifeOf a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service. You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

11. Our intellectual property

The LifeOf name, logo, ThrillQuids, Ancient Gold, Adventures Club, Adventure’s Guild, the App’s UI, habit icons we create, and all software are the intellectual property of LifeOf Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

LifeOf is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, or regulated financial service. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice. ThrillQuids and Ancient Gold are not financial products. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perpetually secure service.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFEOF WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO LIFEOF IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100 (OR EQUIVALENT).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeOf and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, non-payment, inactivity, or at our sole discretion with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time via the Account Deletion page.

Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends and we may delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days shall be referred to binding arbitration in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator in English.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app banner and by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and LifeOf regarding the App. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. These Terms do not create any joint venture, partnership, or employment relationship.
